Kabul Falls: The Afghan president Ghani flee Afghanistan.. and his deputy confirms: I will not surrender

The head of the Afghan Reconciliation Commission, Abdullah Abdullah, announced on Sunday that “President Ashraf Ghani has left the country ,” considering that he has become “the former president of Afghanistan,” describing his departure in this way as “a disregard for the life of the citizen and public security in Kabul” after Kabul falls into the hands of Taliban.

Abdullah’s comments came after Reuters quoted a “high-ranking official in the Afghan Interior Ministry as saying that the president had left for Tajikistan.”

Kabul has fallen and thus any time the Taliban will declare their complete autonomy over Afghanistan.

The Eastern Herald‘s correspondent in Kabul had said earlier that the Afghan president and a group of his advisers had left the presidential palace to an “unknown destination.”

The reporter quoted private sources as saying that the president was transferred as part of a special operation prepared in advance to protect him, noting that “some areas of the capital witnessed complete security chaos and looting.

The Afghan presidency has neither confirmed nor denied President Ghani’s travel, due to “security reasons,” a presidential official told The Eastern Herald.

But the Afghan Vice President, Amrullah Saleh, said in a tweet on Twitter that he would “never, ever & under no circumstances bow to d Talib terrorists.”

“I will never betray d soul & legacy of my hero Ahmad Shah Masoud, the commander, the legend & the guide. I won’t dis-appoint millions who listened to me. I will never be under one ceiling with Taliban. NEVER.,” Saleh added.

On the other hand, a Taliban official said that the movement “is checking whether President Ashraf Ghani left the capital, Kabul or not,” according to what was quoted by “Reuters”.

And the Taliban, who began their attack with the start of the final exit of the US and foreign forces , managed to control the majority of the country in just 10 days.

On Sunday, the Afghan Interior Ministry said that the Taliban began entering the capital, Kabul, from all directions. Finally by Sunday Morning Kabul fell into the hands of Taliban terrorists .

For his part, the head of the Afghan Reconciliation Commission called for “talks” before entering the capital, but the movement called on its fighters to enter areas outside the control of Afghan forces in Kabul.

The movement’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said the decision was made to “prevent chaos”.

  1. The MTKK (Men That Killed Kennedy) never intended to leave Afghanistan. Trump said May, and Xiden pushed it to September 11, yet no effort was made to follow through. Now they are sending troops back. Have you figured it out yet?
