More than 20 Russian businessmen and politicians have filed lawsuits with the General Court of the European Union because sanctions were imposed on them after Russia’s attack on Ukraine, Politico reported.
Among them is Roman Abramovich, the former owner of the Chelsea football club, whose sanctions were imposed in March due to the alleged benefits he had due to his close ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
