The DPR denies information about the trial of a South Korean mercenary

DPR Foreign Minister Natalya Nikonorova denied information about a trial being prepared in the Donetsk People’s Republic of a mercenary from South Korea, the trial will take place in his homeland.

“The trial is being prepared in South Korea itself because he escaped. Allegedly, according to public reports, he became disillusioned with the ideas for which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting and returned back to his homeland,” her TASS  statement quoted her as saying.

Earlier, the media reported that a trial of a mercenary from South Korea was being prepared in the DPR. In particular, the court sentenced British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin to death, as well as Moroccan Saadoun Brahim on charges of participating in hostilities as part of Ukrainian armed groups as mercenaries.

All three are going to appeal against the decision of the court on execution.
