Seven more people have been killed in floods in the northeastern Indian state of Assam, authorities said today.
According to the data of the State Administration for Disaster Management, a total of 88 people died in floods and landslides on April 6.

The administration announced that seven new deaths were recorded yesterday in five of the 32 flood-affected districts in that state. As of Wednesday morning, only one person is listed as missing in Assam. The floods lasted for seven days and affected more than 5 million people.
The Disaster Management Authority currently has 1,687 humanitarian camps that are a haven for thousands of citizens.
