Iran rejects Albanian accusations of cyber attacks

Iran rejected as “baseless” Albania’s accusations that Tehran had carried out comprehensive cyber attacks against it, and for which today Tirana decided to break diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic, reports Al Arabiya .

–  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assesses that the country’s decision to break diplomatic relations with us is based on unfounded accusations and represents a reckless and wrong act – it is stated in the official statement of Iran.

Today, Albania severed diplomatic relations with Iran, accused of a large number of cyber attacks against that country, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said today.

The Iranian Embassy in Tirana has received an official notification demanding that all its diplomatic, technical, administrative and security personnel leave the territory of Albania within 24 hours.
