US calls on Turkey to stop servicing US-made Russian planes

The United States is pushing Turkey to stop serving American-made planes used by Russian airlines.
The newspaper reported The Wall Street Journal citing anonymous sources.
According to the publication, the United States also wants Turkey to prevent these planes from entering the country.
According to the newspaper, senior US officials have warned that Turkish citizens face jail time, fines and loss of export privileges if they supply refueling and spare parts for state-made planes. States to and from Russia and Belarus.
Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Controls Thea Roseman Kendler delivered the message to Turkish officials during a visit to Turkey in December, according to the Wall Street Journal.
