US condemns new Russian missile strikes on Ukraine

The United States condemned the new Russian strikes against Ukraine and assured the country of its unwavering support.
“On behalf of the United States, I want to express my sympathy to all of the victims and their families throughout Ukraine,” State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel said.
“Russia remains determined to bring death and destruction despite continued strategic setbacks, and Iran’s transfer of lethal weapons aids Russia in its brutal war,” Patel continued.
He added that “this tactic will not weaken Ukraine’s determination to resist.”
“The United States will support Ukraine for as long as it takes, and our allies and partners have made that clear,” the Deputy Foreign Minister said.
“We unite and stand with determination for Ukrainians who are defending their country and striving to build a bright, peaceful, democratic and prosperous future, for which the Ukrainian people have suffered so many sacrifices,” he stressed.
