Bolsonaro applied for a six-month US visitor visa

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has applied for a six-month US visitor visa, saying he may not return to his homeland where he faces legal issues anytime soon.
Bolsonaro left Brazil for Florida on December 30, two days before the inauguration of his leftist rival Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The inauguration was uneventful, but a week later thousands of ardent Bolsonaro supporters burst into the capital and stormed key government buildings, demanding the annulment of the presidential election. Lula.
Bolsonaro is under investigation for his involvement in inciting this uprising and other investigations.
