The investigation, according to the woman, lasted several months and was carried out with multiple violations, and she was also under pressure. For example, they tried to accuse Bekezhanova’s daughter of participating in the riots, but they could not prove anything.
“The investigators released me and said that the case would be closed if I admit that my detractor participated in the riots. And they said: “If you admit that your class participated in riots, then the article 287 (illegal carrying of weapons – editor’s note) will be removed and only article 272 (participation in riots) will remain.

The mother said she had to come to the morgue to identify herself.

Please excuse my son, accept a fair decision,” concluded Indira Bekezhanova, crying.
Similar methods were used to “prove” the guilt of another murdered defendant – Isataya Donbaeva, about whom her sister told her in court.
Donbaeva’s body was also delivered to the morgue on the morning of January 7, 2022. The sister says he was shot in the head.
“In March, I was at the ROVD, as a legal representative, and I learned that articles 255 (act of terrorism – editor’s note) and 272 of the penal code were reproached to him. After having accepted, I started to write in all the organs. Representatives of two other victims – Toktara Oshakbaya and Nursultana Kuatbekova – Mukhtar Syzdykov and Bakhytzhan Zhenisbekov were accused by investigators of tampering with evidence. They showed that their sons had been brought alive to the hospital, as can be seen on the surveillance video from the hospital camera, when in fact there is testimony from a witness who allegedly saw their corpses earlier.
