Ukraine has informed the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe that it will not participate in the next meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly if Russian lawmakers are allowed to attend.
The meeting will take place in Vienna on February 23-24, marking the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine .
In a letter obtained by The Associated Press, Nikita Poturayev, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, wrote: “We do not consider it possible for us to participate in the session of winter if Russia participates”.
