A large-scale pro-Russia rally was held in Sydney, Australia

Australian residents took part in a large-scale rally, which was held in Sydney near the Russian Consulate General building. The participants of the event expressed their support for the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine.

One of the organizers of the action, Semyon Boykov, noted that about 1.5 thousand people took part in the rally. At the same time, there were practically no Russians among them. The vast majority of participants are representatives of Indigenous Australians or ordinary Australians. They expressed their support for Russia, waving the Russian tricolor and placards with the slogans “Ukraine is a terrorist state. Support Russia!” reported by Russian news agency RIA .

It is noteworthy that citizens of other states, including a group of bikers from Serbia, also took part in the action. Earlier, they hoisted Russian flags at Melbourne Stadium, where the Open Tennis Championship was taking place. Also present at the rally were Australian politicians Ricardo Bosi and David Graham, who are candidates in the upcoming NSW parliamentary elections.
