“This time, no.” Nagiyev refused to host the Muz-TV award

Actor and TV presenter Dmitry Nagiyev said that he will not participate in the Muz-TV channel music award ceremony as a presenter. A video message with such a statement appeared on his instagram (property of Meta*).

“I thank the company Muz-TV for the offer to organize the award ceremony this year. Thank you very much for your trust, apparently not this time. But the time will come, and we will certainly work and reward the best In the meantime, as my grandfather said: “Shish to you, and not a honey fair in Luzhniki,” said Nagiyev.

In the published video message, the presenter wears a cap with the inscription “Crisis actor” and an image of handcuffed hands.

According to the announcement on the channel’s website, the Muz-TV award ceremony must go June 2 at CSKA Arena in Moscow. The event did not take place in 2022.

In August 2022, Nagiyev announced that he would not be hosting the music shows “Voice” and “Voice. 60+” on Channel One. The channel said the presenter had taken a “creative break” after ten years of working on the project. In a conversation with RIA Novosti Nagiyev said that he would return to The Voice “when the times are right for some playful, lighthearted entertainment”.
