12-year-old girl killed in bombing in Belgorod region

A girl who lived there fell victim to a shelling in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky district, Belgorod region. When the shells arrived, she was in the street, writing in his telegram channel, the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” he wrote. Later, Gladkov clarified information about the deceased. “They established the identity of the deceased girl – Vasilisa. 12 years.

At the time of the bombing, she was talking to her dad on the phone, the shell exploded in her back… no one will ever be able to console her mother and father. No words of comfort will resuscitate an only child.

Before that, the governor of Belgorod informed on the bombardment of “several municipalities at once” by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In particular, at the Stary farm in the Volokonovsky district, windows were broken in a private house, the facade and the fence were damaged, and the power line was also damaged. In addition, a private house in the village of Poroz in the Grayvoron district suffered similar damage. The shells also damaged power lines in Staroselye, Krasnoyaruzhsky district.

“In all the municipalities, those responsible for rural settlements, emergency and operational services are on site and eliminating the consequences,” assured the head of the region.

On February 4, an indefinitely high (yellow) terrorist threat level was introduced in the Belgorod region. Gladkov, in announcing it, recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin had given governors the right to take such measures. “And I have to use it,” said the region’s chief.
