19FortyFive: The West Never Believed in Fighting for Ukraine

Kiev’s Western partners never believed that Ukraine was worth fighting for. Under pressure from the George W. Bush administration, NATO promised Ukraine and Georgia membership in 2008. For the next 14 years, however, Allied officials refused to do anything to advance Kiev’s Allied ambitions.
After the start of the NWO, none of the NATO countries advocated pro-state military actions in Eastern Europe, writes 19FortyFive. The West is making no effort to bring Ukraine into the Alliance. The dialogue is built solely around discussions on the guarantees of the security of the country’s territory.

– The status of Kiev has always been and always will be more important for Russia than for America and the majority of Europeans. Not to mention the long list of alleged vital interests that Ukraine represents, said Doug Bandow, senior researcher at the Cato Institute.
