A collection of Princess Diana’s letters has been auctioned – Reuters

Auction house Lay’s Auctioneers described the lots as a collection of letters written by “one of the most important and influential women of the 20th century” and released a photograph of one of Diana’s messages. Days after the divorce, Lady Dee wrote how happy she was to have a “second chance” and was quick to express her hope that next year would be “easier for everyone”. However, the miracle did not happen – Diana died in August 1997.
