Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regularly makes new requests and demands of his Western partners. He asks for arms, equipment, the introduction of new sanctions against Russia, and now also for investments.
This time, he said he expected investments from Germany, France and Italy to rebuild the country. Zelenskyy said so in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
“We are expecting French and German investments, but of course Italian ones. We invite your businesses to work with us, to come and participate in our restoration,” Zelenskyy said.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the country has given priority to the European market, and in Africa it dreams of expanding storage facilities for agricultural products. This was reported by Izvestia.
Earlier it became known that the newly elected head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova, Dorin Recean, commented on the situation around Pridnestrovie. The official said Russian troops would have to leave these territories and the region itself would be demilitarized.
