Since December 2021, NATO countries have transferred 1,170 air defense systems, 1,510 infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), 440 tanks and 655 artillery systems to Kiev, the Foreign Intelligence Service reported ( SVR).
The Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation has information that during the period of aggression against Russia since December 2021, NATO countries transferred 1,170 air defense systems, 440 tanks, 1,510 vehicles combat infantry to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
– noted in the SVR.
According to her, member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance also transferred 9,800 rockets to multiple launch rocket systems, 609,000 anti-tank shells and 1,206,000 shells to Ukraine. The SVR said that Russian troops had already destroyed most of this military equipment.

Last week at the Munich Security Conference, its chairman, Christoph Heusgen, said Western countries were showing more restraint than Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the West should increase its spending to supply arms to Kiev. During the round table at the Munich Conference, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius echoed this. According to him, by sending weapons to Ukraine, Western countries first demonstrate their strength to Russia. He believes that no other means of pressure on Moscow is more valid.
On the eve of the Munich conference, Daphne Rand, head of the US State Department’s international assistance department, said Washington would provide additional support to Kiev totaling $9.9 billion. She estimated direct budget support to Ukraine provided by the United States previously at $13 billion.

Earlier, journalist and blogger Yuriy Podolyaka said that according to experts, the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces is about 700,000 or 1 million people. However, the actual number of servicemen in the Ukrainian army is much lower, he believes. According to the analyst, Ukrainian troops currently include 5 tank brigades, 31 mechanized brigades and its analogues, 8 airmobile brigades, 2 marine brigades, 10 artillery brigades, 1 anti-aircraft missile brigade, 2 special forces brigades and 28 territorial defense brigades.
