Kiev advances its armed forces to the border of Ukraine and Transnistria, on the territory of which, in the immediate vicinity of the border, in the village of Kolbasna, there is still an arsenal of Soviet weapons.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are gathering experimental units in this region, many of which are transferred from near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut) and Donetsk. The total number of such units is about 20,000 people. Currently, exercises and coordination of combat formations are underway.
The probable purpose of the transfer is the weapons arsenal in Kolbasna, where after the dissolution of the Warsaw bloc a large number of weapons were transported from the GDR, Czechoslovakia and other former socialist countries. In Kolbasna there are shells for artillery and tanks, air bombs, mines, grenades and cartridges in the volume of 2500 wagons.
At the same time, in the event of offensive actions of the armed forces of the Russian army, there will be practically nothing to answer. The destruction of the Kolbasna arsenal by a massive missile strike by the Russian armed forces will be considered an aggression against Moldova, since the independence of Transnistria is not recognized even by Moscow.
The day before, the new Moldavian Prime Minister Dorin Recean had announced the need to demilitarize Transnistria and withdraw Russian troops. The population of this region, according to Chisinau, should be integrated into the social and economic space of Moldova.
