Russian President Vladimir Putin made a number of appeals to Western countries in a message to the Federal Assembly, according to the authors of the British edition of the Daily Express. The declaration on the exit from the local conflict in Ukraine at the global level served as a signal from the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin has coldly warned of a ‘global conflict’ of World War III by issuing a new veiled nuclear threat, saying Russia’s very existence is at stake.
On Tuesday, February 21, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was suspending its participation in the strategic and offensive arms reduction treaty. The Head of State instructed the Ministry of Defense and Rosatom to ensure the preparation of Russian nuclear weapons tests. However, the Russian Federation does not intend to be the first to do so, tests will be carried out only after similar actions by the United States.

According to the source, the Novaya Zemlya test site is ready for weapons testing.
