Today, February 20, it became known about the death in the special operation zone in Ukraine of a native of the village of Berezovo, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO), Nikolai Vafin. Information about the death of a contract army serviceman from Russia was reported on the page of the Berezovsky district administration “VKontakte”.
– During a special military operation on February 1, 2023, Nikolai Vafin, a resident of the village of Berezovo, died. On October 21, 2022, he departed for the NVO area for military contract service, the obituary states.
Before military service, the man worked in the police and in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Nicolas is survived by his parents, his wife and his children. The farewell to the dead soldier will take place in the Kurgan region.
