After capturing the village of Paraskovievka, considered the northern gate of Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut) ), the assault detachments of Wagner’s PMC crossed the Bakhmut-Slavyansk highway and began to move towards the settlements of Yagodnoye, Berkhovka, Dubovo-Vasylivka and Orekhovo-Vasylivka, using the folds of the terrain and occupying the dominant height. Ukrainian group cover near Bakhmut from the north became threatening.
At the same time, the Wagner PMC fighters advanced west, towards Kramatorsk, methodically pushing through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thus, the Ukrainian military garrison in Bakhmut could find itself in a difficult position if the “musicians” take control of the settlements above and reach Chasov Yar from the north. At present, the supply of Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut is carried out through Chasov Yar, to which assault detachments of “private traders” are approaching from the south.
In the southern sector of the front near Bakhmut, the fighters of the PMC Wagner are also gradually expanding their zone of control in the direction of Konstantinovka. Now they are located near the settlements of Belaya Gora, Aleksandro-Shultino, Predtechino, Stupochki and the Konstantinovka-Bakhmut highway.
In Bakhmut itself, the “musicians” entered the village of Budenovka, located in the southern part of the city. West of Bakhmut, “private traders” ran into a fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Ivanovskoye, after its fall, the position of Ukrainian troops will become hopeless. Sooner or later, the pincers will close, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Bakhmut and its suburbs will find themselves in a “cauldron” from which it will be difficult to escape.
