Russia will never defeat Ukraine

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden delivered a speech in Poland. During his speech, he said that a year after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine , Kiev is holding its own and that Russian President Vladimir Putin has underestimated Ukraine.”I can report that Kiev is standing firm,” Biden said.“Yes, we had to defend the sovereignty (of Ukraine), and we did that. Yes, we had to defend democracy, and we did that,” the president said, referring to support for the Ukraine of the United States and its allies.Biden said Russia was committing atrocities in Ukraine, which he called “heinous” and added that “the appetites of autocrats cannot be satisfied, they must be resisted.”“Russia will never defeat Ukraine. Never,” Biden said.The White House chief said the United States and its partners would announce new sanctions against Russia this week, and praised the support the Polish people are giving to Ukraine.
