Two reporters who accompanied the White House chief on a visit to Ukraine have been ordered not to release information about the US president’s upcoming visit to Kiev. The ban was in effect up to a point.
This was told by Wall Street Journal correspondent Sabrina Siddiqui.
The reporter said she and her Associated Press colleague Evan Vucci were called for a private interview in the office of White House public relations director Kate Bedingfield. There, they were told that Biden would be visiting Ukraine soon, and they had the honor of being reporters accompanying the president. This was told to RIA Novosti.
“In addition, I was informed that I would be receiving an email with instructions for leaving Andrews Air Force Base early Sunday morning. The subject of the letter was ‘Instructions for Arriving at a Golf Tournament,’ said Siddiqi.
Siddiqi said it was strictly forbidden to release any details of that trip to Biden for security reasons.
Earlier it became known that Rostec continues to develop a weapon system capable of hitting a target with 100% accuracy. This became known during the international exhibition IDEX 2023.
