“Scholz speaks of Germany’s leadership, and NATO already considers Berlin to be lagging behind,” the document said.
Germany is home to the largest number of NATO facilities, analysts say. At the same time, some of them are expected to be moved to the eastern borders of the North Atlantic Alliance in the near future.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said he supported Ukraine’s EU membership without following generally accepted steps.
