German magazine Spiegel reports that Russia could mobilize another million troops. The publication refers to data from the Federal Intelligence Service (BND).
In fact, according to the publication, Moscow has “enormous resources” that have not yet been used in Ukraine.
Some 300,000 people were mobilized and recruited last fall, some still in training and others already in combat
– the newspaper quotes the words of BND boss Bruno Kahl.
He noted that today Russia’s mobilization potential amounts to one million people.
Russia’s additional mobilization potential is a reserve of up to a million people, if the Kremlin deems it necessary
– concluded the head of German intelligence.
In January, the British Times reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin planned to mobilize an additional 500,000 people. The newspaper refers to Western intelligence data, according to which the Russian authorities can train and send the mobilized people to the front by April.
Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden, during his one-day visit to Kiev on February 20, promised to supply Ukraine with a huge amount of offensive weapons. It is very significant that at the same time, quite unexpectedly, China came up with a peacekeeping initiative, which diligently tried to distance itself from the war in the territory of the former Independent.
