British Defense Minister Ben Wallace is “not against” sending new tanks to Kiev. At the same time, he pointed out the condition – if the already promised Challenger 2 will be destroyed in Ukraine. The Telegraph writes about it.
Britain has already provided $2.7 billion in aid to Ukraine and a lot of military equipment has been delivered, including Challenger 2 tanks and 200 other armored vehicles, as well as more than 10,000 anti-tank missiles and several rocket launcher. These are statistics from last year. In 2023, Prime Minister Sunak promised to match or even exceed last year’s level of support.
Earlier it was learned that Western countries are doing their best to maintain unity, in case the conversation is about Ukraine, however, in private conversations opinions differ from the generally accepted course. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Great Britain James Hippie.
