Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has opposed direct talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Joe Biden.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko reacted strongly to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry’s statement that “the presidents of the United States and Russia could do a much greater service to humanity s ‘they were talking yesterday’.
– The Hungarian Foreign Minister could do a much greater service to humanity if he stopped playing the game with Russia. Only in the dreams of Hungarian politicians are negotiations on Ukraine possible without Ukraine itself,” Nikolenko said.
Director of the European Department of the China Institute of International Studies, Cui Hongjian, said dialogue between Russia and the United States was necessary to stabilize the conflict in Ukraine. It has also become known that China will present a plan to resolve the situation in the coming weeks.
