A captured soldier of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the Arkhangelsk region returned home

A participant of a Russian military special operation from the Arkhangelsk region has returned home from his Ukrainian captivity. The story of the fighter was told by State Duma deputy Alexander Spiridonov.
The Russian fighter visited the NVO zone in August 2022. Some time later, his family was informed of the death of a man after a shell from the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Izyum convoy.
– This story could have ended there, if it weren’t for the soldier’s daughter, who said it: “There is no body, there is no case!” We’ll look,” the MP said.

Later it became known that the wounded soldier was in Ukrainian captivity. The family turned to the parliamentarian to draft appeals to the Ministry of Defense and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova. The search for the Russian was complicated by the fact that prisoners were constantly being transported.

As a result of the exchange, on January 8, the serviceman returned to the Russian side. On January 20, relatives of the young man met him at the airport. The soldier returned home with a huge bouquet of flowers, surprising his girlfriend.
