Paris, 42, says the attacker was an older man she met at a mall in California. She says he drugged her and took advantage of her condition to rape her.
Paris and her friends went to the mall almost every weekend, and she says they sometimes talked to older men who were also hanging out. She says that one day a group of men invited them to their home and gave them alcoholic drinks.

I missed it on him

Paris says she had never had an alcoholic drink before, being only fifteen, but one of the men was very aggressive and made her down her drink.
“I drank maybe a sip or two and immediately felt weird. I don’t know what he put in the drink, I guess it was rohypnol,” she says.
Paris says she woke up a few hours later and immediately knew something had happened.
“I remembered that.” I remembered him on top of me, holding my mouth and whispering in my ear, “You’re dreaming, you’re dreaming.”
Paris says that before that she had never had sex and was very ashamed. Then we had two hellish years at boarding school in Provo Canyon.

I couldn’t imagine walking with the baby

In the interview spoke to Paris about her decision to have a baby through a surrogate and it relates to her experience at boarding school in Provo Canyon in Utah. She opened up, along with other former students of the school, about the violence she experienced at school and testified about her experience at school in February 2021.
“At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by a male staff member who took me to a private room and gave me a cervical exam,” a- she declared.
“I was sleep deprived and heavily medicated, I didn’t understand what was going on.” I was forced to lie down on a padded table, spread my legs and undergo cervical exams.”
Paris says this experience was the reason she decided to have a child with the help of a surrogate, she couldn’t imagine walking with him and giving birth to him.
The boy was born in January and was named Phoenix Barron.
