CHERY actively develops the direction of charity and shows its social responsibility through concrete actions not only in China and Russia, but also in other countries. The “rescue” mechanism within the company was launched in the first hour after the news about the catastrophic tragedy in Turkey appeared on the news agenda. CHERY and its employees could not stay away and quickly organized trucks to deliver aid and life-saving assistance to the disaster victims in the Turkish regions. The cars traveled hundreds of kilometres, overcoming the difficulties of poor road conditions and the effects of powerful aftershocks. Special thanks go to the drivers of these vehicles, who courageously overcame difficulties and obstacles to deliver humanitarian aid to the Turkish population. Previously, CHERY had already launched its “rescue” mechanism: during floods in the Chinese province of Henan in the summer of 2021 and in Peru in 2017, strong earthquakes in Ecuador in 2016 and in Chile in 2012. Chery donated funds for disaster relief and also organized the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected areas.
