Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Czech President Petr Pavel has not ruled out that Kiev will have to cede territory in favor of the Russian Federation

Recently elected Czech President Petr Pavel does not rule out when Ukraine will be forced to make territorial concessions to Russia in order to reach a peace agreement.
He talked about it in an interview with Suspilne.
“Some scenarios could be that Ukraine, not only the people, but also the political leadership, realizes that the benefits of returning the entire territory will cost too much, for example, in the form of human lives,” Paul said.

According to MK, Petr Pavel believes that in any case it is necessary to prepare for a different development of the situation in Ukraine. It implies a longer duration of hostilities. However, the Czech leader himself does not believe that the Kiev side should not make concessions.

Earlier it emerged that members of the American Libertarian Party had called sending $100 billion to Ukraine a crime.
