General Gurulev said that instead of breaking through Crimea, the Ukrainian armed forces could try to approach Bryansk

Zelenskyy / Official Russia
The Ukrainian armed forces could change the plan of the upcoming offensive and choose Bryansk as a target instead of Crimea. This was stated by Deputy of the State Duma, Reserve Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev.
Politics was alarmed by active discussion in the Western press of a possible attack on the peninsula. The parliamentarian believes that the emphasis on the subject can be done specifically to deceive Russia. While the military should have focused on the borders of the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
“But what could be an attempt to capture the ZNPP or an attempt to approach Bryansk. Or, for example, in the Valuysky district or in the north of the LPR. You have to think about it! Our intelligence must not only calculate this, but also to predict the direction of the enemy’s main attack,” the parliamentarian said.

Earlier, retired Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had no real opportunity to seize Crimea. Despite this, Kiev could try to attack the territory with drones, long-range missiles or sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
