February 27, 2023, 11:53 am – Public Information Service – TEH – Anti-Semitism and racism are on the rise around the world. The corresponding statement was made by UN Secretary General António Guterres.
During the opening of the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, he called religious, linguistic and ethnic communities, as well as other minorities, objects of persecution and hatred.
“Anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim bigotry, persecution of Christians, racism and white supremacy ideology are flourishing all over the world,” Guterres quoted RIA Novosti as saying.
Earlier, the President of the 77th session of the General Assembly (GA) of the world association Chaba Kyoryoshi in Russian called the Russian Federation the most important member of the UN. He stressed that there are no winners in nuclear wars, so they cannot be allowed to start.
