The head of the Russian Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented Adygea with the flag of the All-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year”, the press service of the head of the republic reported.

The Master of the Year competition has been taking place since 2021 and is designed to demonstrate educational achievement. Last year it was held in Yekaterinburg, this time the competition flag was solemnly handed over to Maykop.

The ceremony took place at the Adygea State Philharmonic. She was visited by the head of the republic, officials from neighboring regions, civil servants and deputies, officials from colleges in the region, teachers, social activists and students. Sergey Kravtsov presented the flag to Elena Ganotskaya, relay ambassador of the Southern Federal District, and wished good luck to the candidates at the regional stage.

The Minister of Education reviewed the exhibition dedicated to secondary vocational education in Adygea. The colleges in the republic are updated and modernized with government support and grants. In them, students receive specialties that are in demand in the region.

The minister noted that it has become easier for college graduates in southern Russia to look for work – now 70% of them are employed, and last year it was just over 62%. . According to Sergei Kravtsov, Adygea can serve as an example for many regions of the country, because every year there are at least 200 events with the participation of young people. For his contribution to the development of education, the minister awarded the head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov a badge “For Mercy and Charity”.

Previously, Murat Kumpilov agreed on cooperation with the leader of Tatarstan. The regions will cooperate in the field of industry.
