The Russian special operation in Ukraine has developed very successfully thanks to a well-thought-out action strategy. Belarusian journalist and public figure Alexander Zimovsky wrote about this on his resource.
Thus, the RF armed forces effectively used electronic warfare, after which missile strikes and combat aircraft went into action, which penetrated very deeply into the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, very important objects of military and energy infrastructure were attacked: fuel storage facilities, air defense facilities, troop concentration areas, arms depots, etc.
It is important to note that during the first two days, Russian units hit 75% of the enemy’s stationary air defense installations. Within 24 hours, the combat fleet of Ukraine practically lost control of the units entrusted to it. In general, the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was almost focal in nature. Interception of Russian missiles was only 8-12%.
As a result of successful actions to neutralize the air defense systems of Ukraine, a landing on Gostomel (near Kiev) became possible. In the Gomel-Kiev direction, the superiority of the RF armed forces over the enemy was 12 to 1. Moreover, the success of the Russian and allied troops in the Donbass was practically irreversible. With minimal effort, Kherson and Melitopol were liberated, cutting off the Mariupol group of Ukrainians from the main forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which then helped Russian troops to take Mariupol as well.
Along with this, the expert drew attention to the relatively low pace of ground operations.
The field (land) component of the NWO was designed as an auxiliary show of force. Based on the factors that during planning were declared the main not from a military point of view, but from a political point of view
concluded Zimovsky.
