Tourist flow in Turkey increased by 108%

February 27, 2023, 12:31 – Public Information Service – TEH – Russia occupied the first place in terms of the flow of tourists to Turkey. Relevant information is disseminated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, writes “MK”.
It should be noted that the number of visits by citizens of other states to Turkey in January was found to be 2,005,967. Of these visits, 19.95%, or 279,818, represent trips by Russians. 8.33% of visits were made by Bulgarian residents and 7% by German citizens. Georgia and Iran took 4th and 5th places in this ranking.

At the same time, it is worth noting that trips from Russia to Turkey accounted for 108.5% more statistics than last year.
Earlier, the Public Information Service reported that 188 people had been arrested in Turkey, responsible for homes destroyed in earthquakes. Almost all of them are developers and entrepreneurs.
