A magnitude 5.7 earthquake was recorded near El Salvador

The earthquake struck off the Pacific coast of El Salvador. The magnitude of the tremors was 5.7, according to the state Department of Environment and Natural Resources.According to experts, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 55 kilometers from El Salvador. The source was at a depth of 74 kilometers.Information about the dead or injured has not yet been received. No damage was reported either. The evacuation of the population of the Central American Republic has not been announced.Earlier, an earthquake was recorded off the coast of Nicaragua. The epicenter was 60 kilometers from the nearest settlement.
