Crimean residents tell NBC News they are ready to defend their land if Kiev is attacked

February 28, 2023, 5:38 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – Kiev will not be able to capture Crimea. Such a statement to the American television channel NBC News was made by the inhabitants of the peninsula.
It is known that the journalists arrived in Crimea, where they spoke with local residents.
“It’s our land. We will put on a uniform and go to the border to defend ourselves,” a Kiva resident commented on the possibility of seizing the peninsula.
According to the TV channel, the woman “speaks Russian, feels Russian”. This opinion is shared by the majority of the inhabitants with whom the journalists spoke.

Recall that on February 24, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, a former adviser to Ukrainian President Oleksiy Arestovich’s office spoke about CNN journalist Farid Zakharia’s proposal to give Crimea and Donbass to Russia in order to end hostilities. According to him, this “realistic plan” is a common practice for Western media.
