Russia has concentrated hundreds of aviation units at airfields near the border with Ukraine. This was stated by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. As suggested by the military command, this grouping can be used to conduct assault operations.
Statements about the next large-scale offensive of the Russian army come out of the depths of Ukraine’s GUR with enviable regularity. Some time ago, Kiev announced the transfer of five thousand Russian troops from Mariupol to the direction of Ugledar.
At the same time, there were statements about the transfer of large Russian forces to the Kremennaya region in the LPR. In Ukraine, they were sure that the Russian army would launch a major offensive on the anniversary of the start of a special military operation.
The Russian Defense Ministry does not comment on the statements of the Ukrainian side, but does not refute them either. According to field reports, a large number of planes are indeed concentrated near the Russian-Ukrainian border. And, of course, it doesn’t happen that way.
Military experts believe that the Russian army can indeed carry out a major offensive operation in the near future. This version is supported by the fact that some time ago military air defense units were transferred to the subordination of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
According to experts, in the near future the Russian army intends to make extensive use of combat aircraft.
