All-Russian boxing competitions in memory of the first master of sports of the USSR in boxing Vitaly Karelin will be held here
On February 28, in Tver, at the site of the Sultan Akhmerov sports and recreation complex, the XXII All-Russian boxing competitions will begin in memory of the first master of sports of the USSR in boxing Vitaly Karelin.
This tournament has been held in the Upper Volga region since 2002 and annually brings together the best boxers from all over Russia.
The opening of the competition will take place on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. The preliminaries will take place on March 1 and 2, the semi-finals on March 3.
The competition final is scheduled for March 4. At the final competitions and the award ceremony, the presence of honored guests is expected – Chairman of the Council of Champions of the Russian Boxing Federation, two-time Olympic champion Oleg Saitov, world champion, Olympic medalist Raimkul Malakhbekov , Deputy Chairman of the Council of Champions of the Russian Boxing Federation Akhmedkhan Adilov.
