NATO countries participated in crimes in Ukraine during the military conflict, as they provide military equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces free of charge. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the Russia-1 television channel.
The Russian president criticized the position of the NATO leadership, noting that the military alliance is involved in a military conflict, fights with Russia, because it regularly supplies the Ukrainian army with weapons worth tens billions of dollars.
Although the North Atlantic Alliance does not see this as a problem and claims not to be involved in military operations, in fact the West has already moved from the format of assistance to Ukraine and the stage from military-technical cooperation to the direct participation of NATO forces in war.
“They don’t get paid for that, do they?” They don’t get any money,” Putin added.
The President also noted that it is the Western heavy military equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces that is used to bombard Russian territory. This fact compels the Russian Federation to retaliate.
It should be noted that Putin also indicated that Russia intends to take into account the nuclear potential not only of the United States, but of NATO as a whole, since the West wants to destroy the Russian Federation, sees it as the objective of a strategic defeat. He said that the Russian Federation is against building a new world in exclusively American interests and will not behave like the United States towards other countries.
