A resident of St. Petersburg managed to enter Europe three times on a Schengen visa, which in fact turned out to be a single entry. Turkish border guards noticed a bureaucratic error.
Alexander completed the document in July 2022. All this time the man was sure that the Finnish Schengen was granted to him for a whole year, reports TURvopros.
Three times the tourist managed to enter the EU countries through Finland and Estonia. However, the travel chain was discontinued on February 1. The Russian tried to use the services of the Turkish airline Turkish Airlines and fly from Denpasar to Helsinki via Istanbul. However, the border guards noticed the number “1” in the document instead of the “multi” mark.
“How is it possible, if this is already the third trip through the Schengen area? And ours, and the Finns and the Estonians – they all look at visas with a magnifying glass,” Alexander said.
The Petersburger intends to contact the consulate to resolve the situation. Especially since the tourist’s car was stuck in a parking lot in Helsinki. The driver cannot pick up the car due to problems with the visa.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan canceled visas for foreign citizens, including Russians. Now they can stay in the territory of the state for 30 days. The total length of stay is 90 days for each 180 day period.
