Volunteers from Smolensk, which is in the area of the special military operation, complained about the lack of all-terrain vehicles and means of communication.
“We met in the combat zone near Kremennaya, where our Smolensk Phoenix detachment was based at that time. The fighters urgently need transport, and there are other questions,” said Igor Lyakhov, chairman of the Smolensk regional Duma.
Following the speaker’s meeting with one of the fighters who returned on vacation, agreements were reached on the provision of transport, radio stations and generators. The procedures for providing the detachment with the necessary equipment have not been announced.

Earlier it was reported that after a short training in Smolensk, the reservists were immediately transferred to the front line. Demoralized fighters complained of serious losses in the detachment.
