Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The European Commission plans to move to a military base

Zelenskyy / World Official
The European Commission will consider a proposal to significantly increase ammunition production. We are talking not only about the supply of arms to Ukraine, but also about increasing Europe’s own reserves, reports the German edition of Spiegel.
Europe’s transition to the “rails of war” is intended not only to meet Ukraine’s needs for Western technology, but also to protect the alliance itself. The plan for a sharp increase in the production of military-industrial complexes will be implemented in three stages.
First, it is planned to supply a large amount of ammunition to Kiev. At the same time, the expenses of EU member states will be reimbursed by payments from the alliance budget. The second step in preparing Europe for a military confrontation is the purchase of 155mm ammunition by the European Defense Agency. The need for purchases is explained by the guarantee of the long-term needs of the EU in armaments and the demand of Ukraine.

The final stage of the implementation of the European Commission’s plan is a continuous increase in the production capacity of the military-industrial complex in the field of ammunition. The proposal has already been sent to EU ambassadors for consideration. Brussels has already signaled that peacetime is coming to an end in Europe and that there is an urgent need to review approaches in the military field.

Earlier, the “regional chief” had indicated that the European Union ruled out the possibility of easing anti-Russian sanctions. The main reason for the refusal is the immutability of the behavior of the Kremlin regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
