On behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin, an investigation will be conducted into the incident with a 10-year-old boy in St. Petersburg. Recall that a minor child received a bruise and abrasion of the soft tissues of the head after ice fell from the roof of the building opposite the house on Zheleznovodskaya Street on Vasilyevsky Island.
It should be noted that the negligence of city utilities on the Neva has repeatedly become the cause of such situations. On March 1, a similar incident occurred with a child in Kronstadt. The case ended with a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion and soft tissue contusion.
Last December, in the Kirovsky district, a piece of ice landed on a stroller with a 7-month-old child in it. As a result, the latter received a broken leg. Subsequently, the family managed to receive compensation from the organization that carried out poor-quality cleaning of the territory.
However, not everyone manages to obtain justice by holding the relevant committees to account, which are led by the administration of Governor Alexander Beglov.
Previously, Petersburgers massively complained about the inefficient cleaning of urban areas from snow. They reported a small number of work equipment and janitors.
