Blinken called for extension of grain deal at G20 meeting

March 2, 2023, 2:44 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – Washington supports the continuation of the grain initiative. The corresponding statement was made on Thursday 2 March by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at the G20 States Foreign Ministers meeting.
The event took place in the Indian capital.

Recall that the parties signed this agreement last summer and that its mandate ends in March of this year.
“It is imperative that the G20 come out in favor of extending and widening the cereal initiative to strengthen food security for the most vulnerable (ed.)”, declared France-Presse quoting the Secretary of State.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin that Washington supports the independence and territorial integrity of the republic. Read more about this in the article from the public press service.
