Russian government suspends agreement with Hungary on visa-free travel for diplomatsRussian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed an agreement by which the agreement with Hungary on visa-free travel of diplomats to Russia is suspended. Holders of special passports also lost this right. This agreement regulated visits to Russia by Hungarian diplomats with special documents and under a visa-free regime. The new agreement suspends the old one, which was published in 2001. It will remain in force until Hungary eliminates the violations that have been committed under the treaty.Previously, the head of Slovakia’s foreign ministry, Rastislav Kacher, cursed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for his pro-Russian policy towards Ukraine. Kacher noted that military assistance to Ukraine is the only real option, in this position all of Europe is united except for Hungary.
