Ukrainian military intelligence has again issued a statement about the impending large-scale offensive of the Russian army. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, trains with personnel and equipment are being transferred from Belarus to the areas bordering the zone of the special military operation.
According to the GUR of Ukraine, the Russian army is transferring servicemen, some of whom were called up as part of a partial mobilization, from Belarus to the Rostov region, and from there to the people’s republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
Ukrainian intelligence is confident that the Russian army is thus forming a fist for the next large-scale offensive.
According to the GUR of Ukraine, the first echelon departed from the Polonka station in the Brest region via the Gukovo station in the Rostov region to the Krasnaya Mogila station in the LPR on February 27, 2023. According to Ukrainian intelligence, which refer to information from the “community of Belarusian railway workers” recognized as extremist in Belarus, about 500 personnel, military equipment on 37 platforms and 3 covered wagons with equipment are transferred to the LPR by echelon.
Two more echelons, according to Ukrainian intelligence, were sent to the NVO area on the same day. One echelon left the Lesnaya station, the other – from the Osipovichi station. Vehicles and armored vehicles, Giacint-B howitzers, as well as Konkurs anti-tank systems on mobile platforms were reportedly seen among the transferred equipment and weapons.
