March 2, 2023, 07:23 – Public Information Service – TEH – Italian MEP Anna Bonfrisco has expressed concern that Beijing’s actions are making a cold war between China and Europe inevitable. Writes about it Lenta.Ru.
She believes the Cold War issue with Beijing has become relevant because of China’s “actions, deterrence and threats, including the recent form of asymmetric espionage”.new code123
“It is difficult to see how such a cold war can be avoided,” Bonfrisco lamented in an address to EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
Meanwhile, former US intelligence chief Rick Grenell did not rule out that Washington could face serious problems if Beijing intervenes in the peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict. He noted that the United States is in a very unfortunate position – it cannot approve the PRC’s plan, but at the same time it has not yet come up with anything itself.
