La Nacion: In Argentina, around 20 million people were left without electricity

March 2, 2023, 01:09 – Public Information Service – TEH – According to the newspaper La Nacion, about 20 million people in Argentina faced a lack of electricity due to a fire that affected the operation of the power line.
For safety reasons, the work of the services of the Atucha I nuclear power plant has been temporarily stopped.

“About 40% of consumers across the country have been left without power, that equates to 20 million people,” the publication reports.
Previously, Russian women leaving for Argentina were advised to carefully study the legislation of the Latin American state before giving birth. After the detention of six girls at the airport in Buenos Aires, this was noticed by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia.
At the same time, information appeared in the media that the Argentine authorities canceled the residence permit of Russians who received it in connection with the birth of a child, but left the country. Read more about this in the article from the public press service.

First of all, Alexei Zhuravlev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on defense, offered not to give materials to these Russian women.
